Job summary

Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group company, seeks an Outbuildings Service Technician to travel to remote facilities and perform maintenance and repairs in support of hospital operations.

The role requires strong HVAC, electrical, and plumbing knowledge with 3+ years in maintenance and a valid driver’s license. First shift, M-F, with travel across multiple sites to support critical healthcare operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum of 3+ years of general maintenance experience in a commercial or institutional setting.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience coordinating and working with external vendors and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned remote sites to perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
• Coordinate and schedule small‑to‑mid‑size projects in collaboration with the Facilities Project Coordinator.
• Oversee structural maintenance and day‑to‑day building operations.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks as assigned in accordance with the facility maintenance program.
• Interact with building occupants to resolve day‑to‑day maintenance issues professionally.
• Manage workflows for subcontractors supporting small to mid‑size projects and renovations.
• Assist with coordinating office moves and space transitions as needed.
