Crothall Healthcare, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift in Richmond, VA. The role involves troubleshooting, repairs, and coordinating with vendors to maintain hospital facilities.

The candidate should have 3-5 years of related maintenance experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license. Proficiency with building automation systems and computerized work orders is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience as a maintenance worker/technician preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks.
• Driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems.
• Experience with computerized work order systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment sets, replace plumbing fixtures, rodding drains and pipes, identify and stop leaks.
• Supervise and adjust building automation system for patient/staff comfort.
• Test generators, replace light fixtures and bulbs, inspect ceiling tiles, respond to building issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on emergency power, lighting, HVAC and related building systems.
• Conduct building and mechanical room inspections as part of maintenance program.
