Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in control systems or instrumentation in a gas compression field.
• Strong understanding of electrical, electronic, and pneumatic systems used in gas compressors.
• Familiarity with FW Murphy control systems EICS and C5 platforms.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex control systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair control systems and instrumentation on gas compressors and related equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve malfunctions in control systems and electrical components.
• Calibrate control devices and sensors to meet operational parameters.
• Ensure safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Provide accurate daily field service reports (FSR).
• Provide technical support during emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Train junior technicians and operators on control systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Coordinate repairs and system optimizations with Spindletop Sales team.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining high quality standards.
