Job summary

Propak Energy Services Ltd. is seeking Field Service Technicians to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, overhaul, startup, and commissioning of natural gas compression equipment across oil and gas sites.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and the ability to work independently in demanding field environments. Experience with Caterpillar 3500/3600 engines, Waukesha engines, and Ariel compressors is preferred; transferable experience from heavy

Qualifications

1–2 years in natural gas compression or related mechanical industries.
Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
Willingness to travel extensively and work overtime.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on natural gas engines and compressors.
Troubleshoot Caterpillar, Waukesha, Ariel equipment and related systems.
Inspect for wear, leaks, vibration, and alignment issues; perform replacements.
Support engine/ compressor overhauls, rebuilds, and turnaround projects.
Maintain compressor packages including lubrication, cooling, and fuel systems.
Inspect instrumentation, sensors, and control-tubing; assist PLC troubleshooting.
Complete daily service reports and document labor, travel, and parts.
Follow safety regulations and participate in pre-job planning and toolbox talks.
