Job summary

Flatrock Compression, LLC in Texas is seeking a field service technician to perform skilled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on gas compression and process equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, adjust engines and systems, and coordinate parts orders while ensuring safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires extensive experience with engine and compressor technology, the ability to work independently or on a team, and willingness to travel to client

Qualifications

• 11 years engine and compressor maintenance and overhaul experience.
• Experience with gas compression and processing equipment on site at client locations.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and direct repairs on gas compression and process equipment at client sites.
• Diagnose problems and make recommendations for repairs; make critical engine and system adjustments.
• Troubleshoot compressor package system shutdowns and failures (reciprocating and electric motor, controls, cooling, valves).
• Order maintenance/repair parts; coordinate with AMS Team Lead for quotes.
• Maintain safety and company policies; complete service reports promptly.
