Job summary

Tri-Lift Industries, Inc. is looking for a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and related equipment on customer sites across the Carolinas.

You will document service actions, keep vehicles stocked, and uphold safety and organization in every job. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repair for forklifts or industrial equipment; knowledge of battery charger repairs is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 3+ years of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic experience in forklift/equipment repair.
• Knowledge of Electrical and Industrial Battery Charger repair is a plus.
• Effective communication with customers, coworkers and management.
• Ability to read service manuals and schematics.
• Capable of safely operating power tools, lifts, hoists and overhead cranes.

Responsibilities

• Promote goodwill and accountability between the company and customers; provide a superior level of customer service.
• Analyze and diagnose equipment problems and breakdowns; recommend repair actions.
• Perform equipment repairs or modifications as needed.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance efficiently.
• Document service calls and repairs clearly for paperwork.
• Maintain service van, tools, and inventory in good condition.
• Keep work area clean and hazard-free; cooperate on additional duties as assigned.
