Job summary

OWL Services LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician in Madison, WI to service and install electronic equipment including security POS and EV charging stations. The role requires troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and customer-facing service in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years’ electrical experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 30–40% overnight.
• Strong safety awareness and protocol adherence.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus (Verifone/NCR).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs a wide variety of electro-mechanical devices such as cash registers, coin changers, security equipment, alarms, and POS devices.
• Manage EV charger testing requirements and generate performance reports.
• Identify system performance issues and fix ground faults.
• Complete service requests and maintenance promptly and professionally.
• Review work orders, manuals, and drawings to perform maintenance and service of equipment.
• Use testing devices and various hand and power tools.
• May be temporarily assigned to other areas for new installations and upgrades.
• Other duties as required.
