Job summary

Crafco, Inc. in Akron, OH is seeking a Service Technician to repair and service customer equipment, rental and demo units. You will provide technical assistance to customers and support the sales team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year service or mechanical experience is required.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Meet with incoming customers or sales personnel to discuss services required and/or equipment needs.
• Plan and facilitate service work based on customer's needs as well as rental and demo requirements.
• Complete follow-through of repairs or service work performed, diagnose and repair units, and maintain good working relationship with all customers and sales personnel.
• Perform quality inspections including the run-up, pre-delivery, and final inspections on new units.
• Travel as required to repair customer equipment and/or rental units on job sites.
• Maintain work area in a clean, orderly fashion as well as the equipment in good physical and mechanical condition.
• Project a positive attitude in the areas of safety and quality, promote inter-department cooperation, and exhibit professionalism.
• Perform other duties as directed by manager.
• Must be able to work overtime when needed to complete required work.
