Job summary

Aramark in Houston, TX is seeking a Service Technician responsible for repairing and reconditioning equipment at profit centers and customer locations, installing equipment for accounts, and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. You will visit customers, perform repairs, maintain equipment, document service activities, and ensure safety and compliance.

A high school diploma and ability to read/write English, along with a valid driver's license, are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Solid understanding in repairing small electrical appliances.
• Must be willing to learn how to connect equipment to water sources, add lines and drainage when needed.
• Must be willing to work with copper, braided and pex lines, typically developed through 6 months to 1 year of experience or training.
• The ability to read and write in English is required.
• Must possess effective communication and customer service skills.
• Incumbent must have an acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license.
• Physical demands include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing, with PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Calls on customers to investigate operating difficulties and diagnose problems.
• Makes repairs or adjustments to restore equipment to working order.
• Cleans and maintains equipment on location and exchanges decanters as needed.
• Documents service activities, closes calls, and updates invoices.
• Repairs and refurbishes equipment and maintains spare parts levels.
• Accurately captured work details using a company mobile device.
• Maintains strong customer relations and a positive company image.
• Performs scheduled and unscheduled service, including emergency calls and installations.
• Keeps service area and vehicle clean and organized; follows safety and PPE guidelines.
• Completes weekly Driver Report and adheres to Fleet Manual.
