Job summary

Aramark is seeking an on-site Service Technician in Minneapolis to diagnose, repair, and recondition café and related equipment at customer locations. You will also install equipment, service calls, and maintain equipment with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and strong mechanical/electrical skills, with the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to repair small electrical appliances.
• Willing to learn how to connect equipment to water sources, add lines and drainage.
• Willing to work with copper, braided and PEX lines; typically 6 months to 1 year experience or training.
• Must read and write in English.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Call on customers as assigned to investigate operating difficulties and diagnose problems.
• Repair or adjust equipment to return it to working order.
• Clean and maintain equipment on location and exchange decanters as needed.
• Document closing calls, invoice completion, asset verification, and required customer documentation.
• Repair and refurbish equipment; maintain spare parts levels.
• Accurately log work completed in company mobile device.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and present a professional image.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergencies and installations.
• Keep service area and vehicle clean and organized; follow safety guidelines.
