Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Field Service Technician in the San Francisco, CA market. In this field-based role, you’ll deliver high-quality service, installs, maintenance, and issue resolution for Institutional customers, supporting sales and service teams to enhance the customer experience.

You will travel within the market, operate with a company vehicle, and complete documentation while upholding Ecolab Brand Standards. A 10-hour shift schedule and overnight readiness are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of service-related experience, such as maintaining, troubleshooting, and installing equipment.
• Current and valid Driver's License with no restrictions.
• No Immigration Sponsorship available for this position.
• Availability to work overnight shifts and provide emergency call assistance which may occur at night, on weekends and over holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide service-intensive support to customers across the market, including aligned and centralized customers.
• Install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on warewashing, laundry, dispensing equipment, and related systems.
• Complete emergency service requests, equipment changeouts, and other planned and unplanned work orders reliably and efficiently.
• Evaluate account conditions during each visit and proactively take action to help ensure customers meet Ecolab Brand Standards.
• Manage equipment, parts, and inventory to maintain a fully stocked vehicle, maximize effectiveness, and support first-time fix performance.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for all work performed.
• Communicate Ecolab's total value to customers and strengthen customer relationships.
• Partner with sales, distribution, and service teams to improve responsiveness, reduce friction, and deliver a consistent customer experience.
