Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform installations, maintenance, and service calls across an assigned territory in the Rockford, IL area. The role involves servicing electromechanical equipment including self-checkout systems and requires strong mechanical aptitude and good PC skills.

Candidates should be able to work rotating shifts, travel as needed, and lift heavy items. Company-provided vehicle, benefits, and immediate medical coverage are included.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license with suitable driving record
• PC skills and basic electronic skills
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation
• Prolonged travel with long driving hours
• Rotating and weekend shifts
• Flexible shift work across morning/afternoon/evening
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
• Comfort with staying in a rotating schedule and travel within territory

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installations, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively
• Service electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, within an assigned territory
• Conduct maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls
