Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Field Service Technician to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical power distribution equipment for diverse customers. The role is hands-on and field-based, delivering exceptional service while representing the company with professionalism and safety.

You'll read one-line diagrams, operate industrial test equipment, document daily reports, and travel locally and regionally with occasional overnight assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.
• NETA certification preferred; substitute 3 years of experience.
• Ability to read one-line diagrams and control schematics.
• Valid driver\'s license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical distribution equipment.
• Perform electrical testing on transformers, breakers, switchgear, relays, and related equipment.
• Respond to customer needs including occasional emergency calls with professionalism and urgency.
• Ensure a safe work environment by following company and customer safety standards.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
• Properly manage, check in/out, and care for company tools and test equipment.
• Travel locally and regionally, with periodic overnight assignments.
