Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Field Service Technician to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical power distribution equipment in customer sites. You will work hands-on with transformers, breakers, switchgear, and relays, delivering exceptional service in the field as a trusted Sunbelt Solomon representative.

You’ll travel locally and regionally, with occasional overnight assignments, and maintain accurate daily reports while complying with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required; further electrical training is preferred.
• NETA certification is preferred but relevant field experience can substitute.
• Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams and control schematics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical distribution equipment (low, medium, high voltage).
• Perform electrical testing on transformers, breakers, switchgear, relays and related gear.
• Respond to customer needs including occasional emergency calls with professionalism.
• Maintain a safe work environment following safety standards.
• Keep accurate daily reports and documentation.
• Manage, check in/out, and care for company tools and test equipment.
• Travel locally and regionally, with periodic overnight assignments.
