Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform preventive maintenance, calibrations, and repairs at customer sites across your assigned region. You will diagnose electrical, electronic, mechanical, and instrumentation issues and support integration with customer systems.

You must read schematics, use diagnostic tools, and communicate clearly with customers and operations teams. Travel within territory, lift up to 50 pounds, and provide coaching to junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or 5 years of related work experience.
• Strong troubleshooting in electro-mechanical, electronics and instrumentation fields.
• Experience with networks, communications, or equipment connectivity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electrical, electronic, mechanical, and instrumentation issues.
• Configure and troubleshoot network connections.
• Support equipment integration with customer systems and networks.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and manuals.
• Use diagnostic tools, meters and test equipment to identify issues.
• Document service activities, findings, parts usage and recommendations.
• Communicate technical information clearly to customers and teams.
• Work safely and independently at customer facilities.
• Provide coaching to less experienced technicians when needed.
• Manage multiple service priorities with a focus on quality.
