Robert Dietrick Company is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our Operations team. The role involves traveling to customer sites to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install loading dock equipment, industrial doors, and related systems.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic issues and perform preventive maintenance while delivering professional service in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Requires hands-on mechanical experience.
• Experience diagnosing, disassembling, and reassembling equipment.
• Understand mechanical systems and safety requirements.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willing to travel to customer sites and work in the field.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations using a company vehicle.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic issues.
• Inspect, repair, maintain, and service loading dock equipment and doors.
• Disassemble equipment to diagnose issues and perform repairs.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders for repairs.
• Install new or refurbished equipment per specifications.
• Communicate professionally with customers about service needs.
• Maintain an organized, safe work environment.
• Document service and repairs accurately.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
