Robert Dietrick Company is seeking an experienced Service Technician to inspect, repair, and install loading dock equipment at customer sites. You will travel with a company vehicle, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.

A solid mechanical foundation and the ability to work independently are required. RDC provides specialized training to learn the dock and door industry and uphold RDC standards at customer sites.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical experience required.
• Ability to diagnose, repair, disassemble and reassemble equipment.
• Experience working with mechanical systems in industrial or technical environments.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work independently.

Responsabilités

• Travel to customer locations using a company-provided vehicle.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and other equipment issues.
• Inspect, repair, maintain, and service loading dock equipment, industrial doors, and related gear.
• Disassemble equipment to diagnose issues and complete necessary repairs.
• Reassemble, align, adjust, and test equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Install new or refurbished equipment according to specs and drawings.
• Identify causes of failures and determine repairs or replacements.
• Read blueprints and technical documentation.
• Communicate professionally with customers about repairs and service needs.
