Job summary

Norican Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide mechanical, electrical, and technical support for commissioning, installation, inspection, maintenance, service, repair, rebuild and upgrades for green sand molding equipment and DISA molding equipment.

You will install new equipment at customer sites, perform regular maintenance, diagnose and repair both mechanical and electrical issues, and train customers on operation and care of the equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–7 years field service experience in related industry.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Proficient in reading blueprints; GD&T knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure DISA equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance for optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
• Provide technical training and customer support.
• Document service activities and safety compliance.
• Supervise projects and sub-contractors when needed.
• Complete ongoing education and certifications.
