About the job Field Service Technician (Direct Hire)

FCS is actively seeking a Field Service Technicianfor their top client in Seaford, DE. This is a Direct Hire opportunity, offering a lucrative starting salary, Time & Half / Double-Timefor Overtime, Company Vehicle,Medical Benefits & Insurance, 401(k), PTO/Vacation, and opportunity for career advancement!

The Field Service Techwill be responsible fortraveling to customer sites in the Northeast, providingtechnical guidance and training in the setup and operations ofstart-of-the-artheavy construction equipment and systems,completing equipment breakdowns, rebuilds and repairs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent diploma, ASE Certified highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience repairing, overhauling, and servicing large heavyequipment, diesel engines, hydraulic systems,piling & drilling rigs,motors, tractors, and/or other construction related equipment.
• Expertise in troubleshooting breakdowns and diagnosing electrical and hydraulic circuits utilizing diagnosis equipment including, pressure gauges, dial indicators, and multimeters.
• Must be familiar with heavy equipment repair and maintenance, including OSHA regulations.
• Experience repairing transmissions, engines, fuel systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Must have ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics and manufacturer written service manuals.
• Valid Drivers license is required, and ability to obtain a CDL.
  
• Must be able to lift 80 pounds, flexibility with repetitive hand. movements and be able to work in all weather conditions.
• This position requires 50% travelto customer sites.
