This individual will operate a mobile service vehicle and travel to customer locations to perform in-field machinery diagnostics and repairs. Responsibilities include component removal, disassembly, reconditioning, and following technical manual procedures. Must perform quality work efficiently, sometimes working overtime and weekends.

$34 – $44+ / hour

• Eligible for profit sharing based on department profitability and individual performance

Specific Duties Include:

• Perform machinery diagnostics and repairs in the field
• Represent the dealership to provide service solutions and improve customer satisfaction
• Diagnose, inspect, recondition, repair, and service equipment as assigned
• Document work details, parts, and fluids used
• Maintain a clean work environment and care for tools and equipment
• Identify customer service opportunities and communicate solutions
• Maintain technical knowledge of equipment sold
• Follow safety rules and company policies
• Present a professional image to customers and the community
• Participate in training to enhance skills and knowledge
• Engage in communication efforts like meetings and huddles
• Maintain positive relationships with colleagues and management
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Excellent mechanical skills
• Trade-specific tools, including hand and pneumatic tools
• Valid driver’s license as per company policy
• Ability to assemble and maintain equipment
• Strong computer skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Graduation from a diesel technology program (preferred)
• Valid work authorization in the U.S. without sponsorship
