Job summary

Konecranes is seeking skilled service technicians who can travel across the Americas, reside near an airport in the US, and work at heights to maintain and repair cranes. The role emphasizes safety, customer interaction, and proactive problem-solving in dynamic industrial environments.

Responsibilities include on-site crane maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, and documentation of service reports. A two-year degree or equivalent training plus 1 year of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree or equivalent vocational/technical training in industrial electrical/mechanical tech.
• Minimum 1 year of mechanical/industrial troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Ability to work at extreme heights and in safety‑critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance and inspections on cranes and related equipment at customer locations.
• Conduct on-site mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose issues and implement repairs.
• Perform on-site repairs under maintenance contracts or emergency calls.
• Document all service activities, quotations, and daily reports with accuracy.
• Maintain professional appearance and proper use of tools and company equipment.
• Generate sales and service leads during service visits and coordinate with customers.
