Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an Industrial Technician to service electric overhead traveling cranes across customer sites in the United States. The role requires electrical and mechanical expertise, comfort with heights, and a safety-first mindset.

You will troubleshoot motors, perform inspections, and coordinate with facility directors to meet service needs. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and at least one year of electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Mechanical repair experience required; crane knowledge is a plus.
• Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to work at heights and travel for field assignments.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer sites.
• Provide on-call service and after-hours support as part of rotation.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions; obtain customer signatures.
• Stay current with OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, and HMI codes and standards.
