Job summary

Konecranes is seeking experienced service technicians across the United States. The role involves on-site maintenance and repair of cranes including RTGs, STS, RMG, and ASC, with a company vehicle provided for travel.

You will troubleshoot mechanical issues, perform repairs, and ensure high safety standards in a demanding environment. Educational background of an associate degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology is preferred, with at least one year of relevant troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer two-year associate degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or related field or equivalent vocational/technical training and experience.
• Experience: Minimum one year involving mechanical and/or industrial troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance and inspections on RTGs, STS, RMG, ASC, Straddle Carriers, Munck Loader, Goliath Gantry, Level Luffing cranes at customer locations.
• Conduct on-site mechanical troubleshooting to determine cause of equipment malfunction and perform necessary repairs.
• Perform on-site repairs on customer cranes in accordance with planned maintenance or service calls.
• Maintain documentation including quotes and daily service reports and obtain customer signature.
• Keep company equipment, tools, and inventory in proper working order and in stock for service calls.
• Generate sales and service leads during calls and identify Konecranes personnel for customer needs.
