Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain rotary screw, reciprocating, Centac and ECC air compressors across the service area. You will diagnose issues using precision tools and reference equipment manuals.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and are comfortable with on-site visits and travel within a 3-hour radius. A high school diploma is required, and a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years troubleshooting industrial/mechanical systems preferred.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• On-call availability required (first 90 days exempt).
• Physical work including lifting and standing for long periods is expected.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain compressed air equipment.
• Collaborate with Service Coordinator to gather parts for installations and repairs.
• Mentor apprentices and junior technicians on-site.
