Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a Field Service Commissioning Technician to join our Northeast Field Service team in Connecticut. This role reports to the Northeast Region Field Service Manager and supports on-site commissioning and maintenance of Bloom's SOFC/SOEC systems across the district.

You will travel domestically and internationally, diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues, and maintain strong customer relationships while adhering to safety standards and company procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 6+ years electrical/electro-mechanical experience.
• Alternative: Technical diploma or Journeyman/Electrician certification with 4+ years.
• Alternatively 5+ years in commercial electrical roles, plus military electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide field service for Bloom Energy fuel cell installations and maintenance.
• Operate service vehicle safely and manage site access.
• Perform preventative maintenance, repair, testing, and diagnostics on-site.
• Travel domestically and internationally to support installations and commissioning.
• Maintain service reports and customer communication; follow procedures.
• Work autonomously within assigned service district and participate in on-call rotations.
