Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician to join its NJ/PA district team. You will perform fuel cell service on-site, manage on-site maintenance, and diagnose electrical issues while ensuring safety and compliance with company procedures.

Ideal candidates have 4–6+ years of electrical, process controls, or electro-mechanical experience, with journeyman or electrician certification preferred. The role requires travel within the service district and occasional international travel, with

Qualifications

• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiar with OSHA NFPA 70E safety standards.
• Experience with three-phase systems and UPS.
• Able to read electrical diagrams and blueprints.
• Maintenance per ANSI/NETA standards.
• Team player who can work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Provide fuel cell service during field visit dispatches.
• Operate a service vehicle safely and follow procedures.
• Create daily workflows from scheduled tasks.
• Perform on-site preventative maintenance, repair, and testing.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
• Travel within the service district and to other locations as needed.
