Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a Field Service Commissioning Technician to support field installations and maintenance across the district. You will perform on-site commissioning, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics for fuel cell systems, while traveling as needed.

The role requires strong electrical troubleshooting, safety knowledge (OSHA/NFPA 70E), and the ability to work autonomously within a team. Expect varied shifts and domestic/international travel as part of service commitments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 6 years in electrical/electro-mechanical fields.
• Technical diploma or Journeyman/Electrician certification with 4 years experience.
• Military electrical experience (Navy Nuclear or equivalent) also accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide fuel cell service during field visit dispatches.
• Operate a service vehicle safely.
• Travel domestically and internationally to support company needs.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and implement solutions.
• Maintain service reports and on-site maintenance tasks.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers.
