Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician for the Large Service District covering NJ/PA. You will provide fuel cell service during field visits, operate a service vehicle safely, and perform maintenance, testing, and diagnostics with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have strong electrical troubleshooting skills, familiarity with safety standards (OSHA NFPA 70E), and the ability to work autonomously while communicating clearly in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 6 years’ experience in electrical, process controls, or electro-mechanical fields
• Technical diploma or Journeyman Electrician Certification with relevant experience
• 5+ years of electrical experience in commercial, or electrical/military settings

Responsibilities

• Provide fuel cell service during field visit dispatches
• Operate a service vehicle safely
• Perform on-site preventative maintenance, repair, testing and diagnostics
• Prepare timely, detailed service reports and maintain inventory
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Travel within the NJ/PA district and nationally as needed
