Job summary

Bloom Energy seeks a Field Service Technician to join the Northeast Region in Connecticut, reporting to the Northeast Region Field Service Manager and Remote/Field Office. You will provide fuel cell service during field visits and manage on-site maintenance with a focus on safety and quality.

Role requires traveling within the service district, operating company vehicles, and completing on-site diagnostics and repairs. Initial training sessions will occur in San Jose, CA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 6 years in electrical/controls fields
• Or technical diploma or Journeyman/Electrician certification with 4 years relevant experience
• Or 5+ years in commercial electrical plus related military experience

Responsibilities

• Provide fuel cell service during field visit dispatches
• Operate a service vehicle safely
• Create daily workflows from scheduled tasks
• Manage on-site preventative maintenance, repair, and diagnostics
• Diagnose problems and implement solutions
• Maintain relationships with customers
• Produce detailed service reports
• Travel within service district and occasionally to other destinations
