Job summary

Smart Care is seeking a Service Technician to partner with restaurant managers to service commercial cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, and related equipment. You will use your mechanical aptitude to diagnose issues and perform repairs.

This role includes on-the-job training, a company vehicle, and opportunities for advanced certifications. You will operate independently, plan your own schedule, and may travel occasionally for installs or service calls.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of technical experience in refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or military service.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation including nights and weekends.
• Immigration sponsorship not provided for this role.

Responsibilities

• Service commercial cooking, refrigeration, warewashing and related equipment.
• Read diagrams and schematics; troubleshoot and repair.
• Partner with managers to provide comprehensive service solutions.
• Occasional travel and working in varied environments; lift up to 70 pounds; on-call rotations as needed.
