Job summary

Concept Careers in Wisconsin is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manual and CNC milling machines, lathes, saws, grinding and metrology equipment at customer sites or in service centers.

You will complete reporting, maintain training certifications, manage spare parts stock in the service van, and demonstrate strong communication, safety, and problem-solving skills; travel about 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent college/technical school plus 2 years related experience or equivalent.
• 1+ years in a similar/related field.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Must understand machines/milling/metrology and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair milling machines (manual & CNC), lathes, saws, grinding, and metrology equipment at service center or customer site.
• Complete reports, time sheets, and other required documentation.
• Keep training and certifications up-to-date.
• Maintain service van spare parts stock and ensure van is clean and presentable.
