Job summary

Solenis is seeking a field service/industrial maintenance professional to install, service, and optimize chemical treatment systems at customer sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, document findings, and train customers while maintaining strong operational relationships.

The role requires travel to Bettendorf, IA and a hands-on approach to problem solving in heavy industrial environments. Competitive salary, benefits, and 401(k) are offered.

Qualifications

• Technical experience in industrial maintenance, field service or manufacturing operations.
• Experience in aluminum mills, metals processing, steel, paper or chemical settings preferred.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a customer facing environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel locally to Bettendorf, IA and work in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot and optimize equipment and chemical treatment systems at customer sites.
• Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance and performance evaluations.
• Provide on-site technical support and recommendations to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Demonstrate products and services while ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
• Partner with customers to identify and resolve process and equipment issues.
• Document service activities, findings and recommendations.
• Support new product implementations, system startups and customer training.
• Maintain strong relationships with customer operations, maintenance and engineering teams.
• Stay current on products, services, industry trends and competitors.
• Provide technical input into bids and proposals within the sales process.
