Job summary

Vision Technologies is seeking a Security Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain complex CCTV and access control systems. The role requires strong technical problem-solving skills and customer service, with mentorship of junior technicians and thorough documentation of work performed.

The technician will handle diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and emergencies, coordinating with customer IT teams as needed to ensure system connectivity and high service standards.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience with low-voltage or electronic security systems.
• Hands-on experience servicing and troubleshooting systems beyond installation.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Experience servicing systems in active customer environments (hospitals, schools).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and system issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance for optimal equipment performance.
• Provide technical support to resolve complex service issues.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and provide updates.
• Mentor junior technicians to improve service quality.
• Document work performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Manage parts and supplies to ensure availability for tasks.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls to minimize downtime.
