Job summary

Zeus Fire and Security is seeking a Service Technician to ensure ongoing service and maintenance of electronic security systems. The role requires inspection and repair of CCTV and Access Control systems while providing excellent customer service and maintaining accurate service records.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of related experience and a strong IT background. Flexibility for after-hours calls is required, and physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs is necessary.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years experience servicing Access Control and CCTV security systems preferred.
• 1-2 years alarm service and low-voltage experience preferred but not required.
• Comfortable with IP networking, switches, VLANs, and basic server/client configurations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair security systems.
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance and component replacement.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate with supervisors.

Skills

Experience with Access Control systems

Experience with CCTV security systems

Strong networking and IT background

Troubleshooting electrical/electronic systems

Independent problem-solving skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Certifications (e.g., CCNA)
