Job description

Field Service Technician needed for a high-end earth moving and mining equipment company based in Cape Town.

Requirements:

• Millwright qualification

Candidate responsibilities:

• Apply electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical theories and related knowledge to test and modify operational electrical machinery, electronically controlled equipment, hydraulic circuits, and mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul port equipment such as Harbour Mobile Cranes, Reach Stackers, Offshore, and Ship Cranes.
• Complete all assigned paperwork including timesheets, work reports, and expense reports, ensuring all forms are filled out properly and customer signatures are obtained where applicable.
• Maintain and care for company tools, machines, and equipment.
