Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. is seeking an on-site RF Equipment Repair Technician to service advanced testing gear. You will diagnose malfunctions, perform repairs, and ensure performance standards are met.

You will understand RF system architecture, communicate professionally with customers, and maintain accurate logs of work performed, hours, and inventory used for each assignment, while working independently on moderate projects to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site or in-house repair of equipment to ensure it meets Rohde & Schwarz's high standards of performance
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs
• Understand complex RF system architecture and apply that to diagnostic process
• Represent the company in a customer support role and ensure customer satisfaction with equipment and servicing
• Accurately prepare daily logs and reports of work performed, including hours spent and inventory used for each assignment
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex projects
• Effectively communicate with customers in a professional business environment
