Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz USA, Inc. seeks a field service technician to conduct on-site or in-house repairs of RF equipment, ensuring performance to our high standards.

You will diagnose malfunctions, understand complex RF architectures, and communicate professionally with customers while documenting work hours and inventory usage.

Flexibility to work independently on moderately complex projects and represent the company in customer service roles is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site or in-house repair of equipment to ensure it meets Rohde & Schwarz' high standards of performance
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform repairs
• Understand complex RF system architecture and apply that to diagnostic process
• Represent the company in a customer support role and be responsible for customer’s satisfaction with equipment and servicing
• Accurately prepare daily logs and reports of work performed, including hours spent and inventory used for each assignment
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex projects
• Effectively communicate with customers in a professional business environment
