Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a field service technician to install and troubleshoot beverage equipment at customer locations in Johnson City, TN. The role involves repair and preventative maintenance on vending, cooling, fountain, ice, and frozen beverage systems while ensuring safety and quality across routes.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, selecting the best repair or replacement, executing installations, and maintaining service records.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years or older.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Lift up to 50 lbs (with/without accommodations).
Ability to reach, lift, carry, push and pull (with/without accommodations).
Kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling and bending for repairs (with/without accommodations).
EPA Section 608 Certification required.
Refrigeration certification Type I/II (if applicable).

Responsibilities

Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending, cooling, fountain, ice, and frozen beverage equipment at customer accounts.
Diagnose equipment issues and determine best repair or replacement solutions.
Install equipment by routing lines, connecting product, water and gas, and ensuring proper drainage; adjust mixtures.
Prioritize and schedule service and preventative maintenance calls to meet customer service windows.
Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep; document each service call and maintain parts inventory on the service truck.
