Job summary

PepsiCo is looking for a field technician to install and troubleshoot beverage equipment across customer locations in Joplin, MO. The role involves repairing vending and fountain systems, diagnosing issues, and ensuring proper setup and maintenance on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities include scheduling calls, educating customers, and documenting service activities while maintaining truck inventory. EPA and DOT certifications are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status and DOT compliance.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Capability to lift up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks.
• EPA Section 608 Certification and refrigeration certification Type I/II (as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Repair and perform preventative maintenance on vending, cooling, fountain, ice, and frozen beverage equipment at customer accounts.
• Diagnose equipment issues and determine best repair or replacement solutions.
• Install equipment by routing lines, connecting supplies, and ensuring proper drainage and mixture.
• Prioritize and schedule service calls to meet customer service windows.
• Educate customers, document service calls, and maintain parts inventory on the service truck.
