Job summary

Musco Sports Lighting, LLC is seeking a Technician Associate to join the Services Team. The role involves hands-on training in Musco systems, services, and field operations, and work to support field projects across the U.S., with significant travel from Iowa.

You will learn and perform field service tasks, contribute to project plans, and develop skills for future service roles within the company. Strong communication and initiative are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent technical and problem solving ability.
• Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude is preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills.
• Strong personal initiative and ability to work with little supervision.
• Basic computer, email, and internet skills for receiving work instructions and job reporting.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate equipment at lighting projects, including, but not limited to fork lifts, aerial man lifts, all terrain forklifts, generators, non-CDL vehicles and rental cars.
• Perform field service work, which will require working in aerial lifts, climbing poles, or in catwalk access locations at heights.
• Learn all different aspects of Musco products and services provided to lend toward future services roles.
• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspection of equipment and products.
• Coordinate time frames for projects with customers, vendors, equipment and people resources for assigned projects.
• Maintain consistent communication with Field Logistics Supervisor regarding daily work duties and schedules.
• Provide detailed written field reports and completion of required paperwork within one week of project or assignment of paperwork.
• Work on crews on individually at Musco projects that could include, temporary lighting, warranty related efforts of Musco's metal halide, LED or control-link products.
• Make solid daily expense related decisions.
