Job summary

Peregrine Air Systems is seeking an Air Compressor Technician to service and maintain compressed air systems at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, perform preventative maintenance, and replace components while keeping detailed service reports.

The role requires travel to customer locations, independent work, and clear communication with customers and internal teams. Prior experience with compressed air systems or HVAC is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience servicing air compressors, pumps, or industrial equipment.
• Ability to diagnose pneumatic, mechanical, and basic electrical issues safely and efficiently.
• Proficiency reading manuals, schematics, and completing clear service reports.
• Effective communication and customer service, able to explain issues clearly.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
• Independent work in a remote role with scheduling responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and remote communication.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Experience in compressed air systems, HVAC or related fields is beneficial.
• Technical training or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on compressed air systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.
• Repair or replace faulty components and verify system operation.
• Interpret technical manuals and complete service reports.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to customers and internal teams.
• Assist with system installations, start-up and commissioning.
• Travel to customer sites and coordinate with the wider service team.
