Job summary

Pattons, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, repair, and maintain compressed air equipment at customer sites across the Southeast. You will perform on-site diagnostics, ensure safety, document work, and coordinate with Parts and Sales to deliver outstanding service.

Travel and hands-on problem solving are core parts of the role. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of industrial equipment maintenance experience, a clean driving record, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Driver's license with clear Motor Vehicle Record.
• 2+ years' industrial equipment maintenance experience.
• Ability to prioritize tasks with strong time management skills.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal / customer service skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Keen attention to detail.
• 1+ years' compressed air system maintenance experience.
• 1+ years' refrigeration equipment maintenance experience.
• EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal Refrigerant).
• ASSE 6040 Certification.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test compressed air equipment on-site at customer facilities.
• Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on compressed air equipment on-site at customer facilities.
• Consult with and advise customers on compressed air equipment needs, maintenance, and repairs.
• Document work performed using designated forms and submit reports to appropriate business units in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including, but not limited to, Parts and Sales Departments to facilitate service to customers.
• Other tasks as needed or assigned.
