Job summary

Greenway Equipment, Inc. in Missouri seeks a Service Technician to diagnose, service, and repair customer- and dealer-owned agricultural and outdoor power equipment, focusing on John Deere gear.

You will perform field repairs, document diagnostics and repairs, stay current on technology offerings, participate in training, mentor apprentices, and uphold safety standards while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to diagnose technical issues.
• Experience with Service Advisor or equivalent diagnostic tools.
• Positive attitude and commitment to customer experience.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.
• Experience with John Deere equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment.
• Repairs in the field as required.
• Develop a thorough understanding of all technology offerings.
• Accountable for billable time and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on repair orders.
• Participate in training programs required by Greenway Equipment to develop and advance skills and knowledge.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Prepares all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments.
• Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Mentors Service Technician Apprentices and junior Service Technicians.
