Job summary

Shaffer Entertainment is seeking a Field Service Technician / Account Rep to service arcade games, ATMs, and entertainment equipment across the Dayton area. You will install, maintain, and repair equipment at bars, restaurants, and family entertainment centers, with a mix of field work and customer interaction.

The role emphasizes independence, problem solving, and building strong customer relationships while ensuring reliable service and on-time visits.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MV R.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Service, install, and repair arcade games, pool tables, dart boards, cranes, ATMs, and other amusement equipment.
• Respond to on-site service calls and troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues.
• Collect cash and customer payouts from assigned route locations.
• Monitor and refill cranes and ATMs to appropriate levels.
• Safely transport cash to designated bank locations.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers through reliable, professional service.

Field Service Technician / Account Rep

As a Field Service Technician/Account Rep, you’ll be the face of Shaffer at customer locations across the Dayton area—installing, maintaining, and servicing arcade games, ATMs, and entertainment equipment in bars, restaurants, and family entertainment centers. No two days are the same, and you’ll have the independence and support to do meaningful, hands‑on work.

What You’ll Do

• Service, install, and repair arcade games, pool tables, dart boards, cranes, ATMs, and other amusement equipment


• Respond to on‑site service calls and troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues


• Collect cash and customer payouts from assigned route locations


• Monitor and refill cranes and ATMs to appropriate levels


• Safely transport cash to designated bank locations


• Maintain strong relationships with customers through reliable, professional service

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM


• On‑call rotation for weekend service needs

Physical & Technical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs


• Comfortable using hand tools, dollies, pallet jacks, and handcarts


• Ability to climb ladders (up to 12 ft) and work in tight spaces such as ceilings or attics


• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills


• Ability to work independently and manage your route efficiently
