Job summary

Rehrig Pacific Company in Mobile, AL is seeking a skilled Material Handling Field Service Technician to manage maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of our Direct-to-Store Delivery and supply chain tech offerings. This role is primarily customer facing and requires travel.

You will inspect equipment, perform preventive maintenance, support warranty requests, and collaborate with Quality, Procurement and New Product Development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Engineering or mechanical fields.
• Minimum of 5 years Material Handling Field Service Technician experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Strong technical aptitude in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% and lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs as needed.
• Support customer fleet check-ins as assigned.
• Support warranty service requests.
• Provide a high level of courteous and professional customer service.
• Support Technology Team with VOR (Visual Object Recognition) installations as needed.
• Projects include equipment retrofit or replacement campaigns.
