About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team at Rehrig Pacific Company. In this role, you’ll manage the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our cutting‑edge Direct‑to‑Store Delivery (DSD) and Supply Chain Technology solutions, including our Vision Object Recognition (VOR) Ecosystem and Material Handling Solutions.

You’ll serve as the face of Rehrig Pacific in the field, providing exceptional on‑site service and support to our customers, while collaborating closely with our Quality, Procurement, and New Product Development teams to drive continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

  • Onsite Customer Support
  • Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on assigned equipment.
  • Support customer fleet check‑ins and warranty service requests.
  • Deliver exceptional, professional customer service at every interaction.
  • Assist with VOR installations and technology implementations.
  • Partner with the Implementation & Service Team on retrofit or replacement projects.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Complete service reports and documentation for billing and warranty processes.
  • Maintain safety stock inventory and coordinate replenishment with the purchasing team.
  • Provide field insights and feedback to help improve product performance and installation processes.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Material Handling Field Service Technician (preferred).
  • Solid understanding of electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to learn new products quickly and work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong accountability and multitasking skills; able to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and travel approximately 70% of the time (company vehicle provided).
