Job summary

The Gordon Flesch Company is seeking a Tech Level 1 professional to join a high-performance team serving OH region. The role focuses on diagnosing hardware and network problems, servicing multifunction printers, and delivering excellent customer support.

You will mentor junior technicians and may advance to product specialist on select models. Expect to operate with strong organizational and communication skills, manage installations, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure complete

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience servicing multifunction printers and devices.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient use of company-provided technology such as: laptops, smartphones, and software applications.
• Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks as required.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds.
• Maintain a valid driver's license and appropriate auto insurance as dictated by state requirements.
• Access to reliable vehicle with secure storage for all company issued property.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of the Tech Level 1
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and network connectivity problems
• Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues
• Ability to service and support equipment in Segment 1 through Segment 5
• Assists the group Field Manager in mentoring and training Level 1 technicians
• Demonstrates the potential to become a product specialist on a specific model or series
• Perform basic hardware/network installations and conduct customer training as needed
• Communicate and coordinate activities with other internal departments to ensure problems are fully resolved resulting in a positive customer experience
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned
