Job summary

Gordon Flesch Company is hiring for a Tech Level 1 role based in Ohio. The position focuses on servicing multifunction printers and related devices, diagnosing hardware and network issues, and delivering excellent customer service.

You will assist in mentoring junior technicians and may advance to product specialist status on specific models. The role emphasizes hands-on installation, customer training, and cross-department coordination to ensure issues are resolved and customers have a positive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient use of company-provided technology such as laptops, smartphones, and software applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties of the Tech Level 1.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and network connectivity problems.
• Resolve customer satisfaction issues.
• Service and support equipment across segments 1 through 5.
• Assist the Field Manager in mentoring Level 1 technicians.
• Potential to become a product specialist on a model or series.
• Perform basic hardware and network installations and conduct customer training.
• Coordinate activities with internal departments to ensure problems are resolved for a positive customer experience.
• Other duties as assigned.

In this role you will:

• Perform all duties of the Tech Level 1


• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and network connectivity problems


• Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues


• Ability to service and support equipment in Segment 1 through Segment 5


• Assists the group Field Manager in mentoring and training Level 1 technicians


• Demonstrates the potential to become a product specialist on a specific model or series


• Perform basic hardware/network installations and conduct customer training as needed


• Communicate and coordinate activities with other internal departments to ensure problems are fully resolved resulting in a positive customer experience


• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

You should have:

• High school diploma or GED


• Experience servicing multifunction printers and devices


• Good organizational skills


• Good verbal and written communication skills


• Proficient use of company-provided technology such as: laptops, smartphones, and software applications


• Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks as required


• Ability to lift 75 pounds


• Maintain a valid driver’s license and appropriate auto insurance as dictated by state requirements


• Access to reliable vehicle with secure storage for all company issued property

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficient understanding of electronics and mechanical systems


• Proficient understanding of network connectivity
