Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Service Technician for InnoServ to install, perform preventative maintenance and test performance of coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing systems for customers across healthcare, education, hospitality and food service operators.

The selected candidate will service the Waterford, Clarkston, Farmington Hills, Bloomfield areas and must have two years of customer service or equipment repair experience, a valid driver’s license, clean

• Two years previous customer service or equipment repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Clean driving record (MVR will be run).
• Successfully pass drug screen, MVR and background check requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers and chemical dispensing machines.
• Interpret maintenance manuals, schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.
• Provide exceptional customer service and safe, compliant equipment operation.

Position Summary

As a Service Technician for InnoServ you will be the trusted expert that provides installation, preventative maintenance and measures performance of coffee machines, juice machines, dishwashers, and chemical dispensing machines for a variety of customers including national accounts, healthcare, college and university, hospitality and large independent food service operators. ***The selected candidate will primarily service the Waterford, Clarkston, Farmington Hills, Bloomfield areas. The ideal candidate resides within that territory ***

Pay

Pay: Starting at $52,748/year ($25.36/hour) + incentives, with the opportunity to start at a higher rate based on experience and qualifications.

Weekend rotation/on call incentives Quarterly incentive based on performance (up to $500 a quarter) Some OT opportunities

When you will work

Monday - Friday between the hours of 7AM - 6PM, however this position requires flexibility to provide exceptional customer service. This includes a weekend rotation and on call evenings.

What you’ll bring to the table

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Clean driving record (we will run an MVR).
• Successfully pass the drug screen, motor vehicle report (MVR) and background check requirements (criminal background check – we do not check your credit score).
• Two years previous customer service or equipment repair experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Mechanical Aptitude - electrical, plumbing, health and sanitation codes.
• Ability to correctly interpret maintenance manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the job, including heavy lifting of machines.
