$5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Shift: Monday to Friday. No weekends!

Compensation: starting at $25 - $35 hourly (depending on experience)

As a Field Service Technician, you’ll provide on-site service and repair to truck mounted equipment on railroad service vehicles. Equipment includes: cranes, hydraulics, rail conversion equipment, winches, aftermarket electrical components, and other various truck mounted equipment.

What will you do?

1. Cover an assigned geographical service area utilizing a company vehicle
2. Communicate with customers to understand and diagnose problems
3. Make necessary repairs and modifications to truck mounted equipment
4. Accurately estimate time and material required for repairs
5. Problem solving under little or no supervision
6. Inform and communicate suggestions and errors for continuous improvement of trucks

What are we looking for?

1. Minimum of 3 years previous hands-on mechanical experience
2. Operating within the 100 air mile radius
3. Possess automotive troubleshooting skills
4. Preferred knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, and/or pneumatics
5. Must have positive attitude and strong work ethic
6. Must possess reading skills to utilize service manuals of equipment
7. Welding and cutting torch experience preferred
8. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
